Re: Catalina Direct

Alex,
You're right, I bought mine before April 2012. I bought it some time between October 2011 and March 2012. It was probably in late 2011.

Re: Catalina Direct

I'm also a satisfied customer.

I've only ordered a handful of items and all but a couple fit well. The people there are always prompt to answer questions and are very pleasant. It seems like they do care about customer satisfaction. I will order from them again in the future.

Re: Catalina Direct

Like everyone else on here with the exception of the one poster, I have nothing but great things to say about them. Have ordered from them in the past and will continue to do so, and would highly recommend them. I have also found them to be pretty knowledgeable about their parts...

Also, I would be wary of someone's first post bashing a particular vendor, when most other posters appear to be pleased with them...

Re: Catalina Direct

Another very satisfied customer here. I used them several times in the past when I owned a Catalina 25.

Re: Catalina Direct

I found catalinadirect about a year ago. This fall I had to replace my exhaust riser and muffler and it was great to have all the necessary bits and pieces available from one source. The customer support was great and the products shipped promptly and correctly.

As a Catalina owner it's great to have a site with products specifically for my boat.

I will have no hesitation about using them in the future.

Re: Catalina Direct

There's a place in Point Roberts called TSBShipping. CD can UPS the stuff there, you drive over, pay your tax to bring it back, done. Forget the hidden fees and fake brokerage charges that are little more than a cash grab. A bit of a drive for us inland folk....

Re: Catalina Direct

Last summer we had a "weather event" that ripped two serious moorings out, and through the hand of Mr Murphy, tangled two boats, completely destroying my bow rail, stem and some fittings. CD was, and has been fantastic in getting the insurance replacement sorted out, and getting the parts together so it can come in one shipment. THAT part of the deal has been painless.
A lot of parts may or may not be listed on the website. Calling them is the best way to find what you can't find online.

Re: Catalina Direct

I used them more with my 22 than my 30, but found them to be a good company to deal with.

Actually that's one of the nice things about owning a Catalina -- the support for their boats. That includes the factory, Garhauer, Catalina Direct, etc.

Re: Catalina Direct

Among my reasons for buying my C25 was CD and the excellent service they provide.

You order stuff and it fits.

How cool is that?
