Bushing 1.5" transom through for exhaust 2"

I have a transom exhaust throughull with a 1.5" straight (not ribbed) nipple and plan to increase the hose to 2". Rather than replace the throughull, I would like to just bush up the nipple to accomodate the 2" hose. Any suggestions for a secure bushing rig?

Can you unscrew the 1.5" hose barb? Then replace it with a 1.5" to 2" adapter; I think they exist! Buck Algonquin...Quality Marine Hardware Since 1955
