Should i brand this new engine?

Hi you all.
Well, actually i´m using a YSB8 yanmar engine in my sailboat. Is a very old engine and sure doesn´t giving 8 hp. After a very deep repair the engine is giving a better performance but still isn´t enough, so i´m thinking about to change the engine.
Due to technical policies in spain, i can install up to 6,6 kw (9 hp) engine. as i know the only brand building this kind of engines is yanmar.
Anyone can tell me about 1GM10 engine?. The boat is a 25 footer displacing 1900 kgr.
Should the engine be enough powerful to move the boat safely?

i have a 1gm yanmar on my 27' boat, which i rated at like 6.5 hp, it pushes the boat to 5.2 with a clean hull. i would say the gm10 should do fine. it wont be a race boat but it should hit over 5.5 knots with no problem
