Gluing transom board to pvc dinghy?

Good afternoon everyone,

After two years of owning my dinghy and enyoing it on a weekly basis the starboard side of the transom unglued itself from the starboard pontoon.

I could go to West Marine and buy the two part glue for pvc dinghys (Ive used it before) but this "joint" between the pontoon and the transom is PVC to plywood.

So I'm not sure it will work in that application.

Any suggestions about gluing this perhaps with a different adhesive?

thanks!
