Best electronic maps for the south pacific

Aloha,
I am currently in Hawaii plan on a few years more here than the trek to the south pacific. I need to upgrade my chart plotter, what manufacture has the best charts for the south pacific? Most info I have found here is for the Bahamas and Great Lakes, while your making recommendations which plotter is best regarding daylight readable and able to sit under the dodger and take the spray and occasional rain IE. water proof.
