Stripping aluminum ports??

I'm removing my aluminum ports and stripping off the old paint. So far I've done one by just sanding off the paint which took quite a while. Anyone know of an easier method. i was thinking of some sort of paint stripper like they use for furniture.

If you have aluminum ports, you could simply buy aircraft paint remover, available at most car part stores. Of course only if your ports have been removed. Don't bring that stuff anywhere near your, or anybody elses boat. The paint removal part of your job may be easier, but your prep work on them will make all the difference in the finished job.
