Jack Hornor is both a surveyor and a naval architect. He''s about the best there is IMHO. Name of his company is Marine Survey and Design, phone 410-451-8133.

I agree with Jack Horner and his company.
I used him for my survey and they did a great job.
His man was there from 9:30 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. without a lunch break and covered everything.
I eventually purchased the boat and am glad I used them.
They were professional, knowledgeable and above all very honest at the end when we did our sit down.
I highly recommed them.
Don''t know what others charge but what I paid was well worth it.

Bob Noyce was a great choice!

Very thorough, very informative, took his time and knew what he was doing. Was well balanced in his presentation of issues.

Actually saved me the cost of the survey.

A year later, I have not found a single thing he might have missed. Very pleased.

I''ve used Jerry Trippitelli of Harbor Marine Surveys 3 times and was very pleased every time. He is thorough, taking as long as necessary to carefully inspect any boat from stem to stern.
He saved me from a real disaster once and helped me find 2 great boats.

Peter Hartoft from Hartoft Marine Survey Limited. Address is 310 Giddings Ave., Annapolis 410-263-3609. Extremely thorough and very well respected. Ask insurance companies as well as marine lenders about him.

I would recommend Steven Uhthoff of Annapolis Marine Surveys. He is the best in the area in my opinion. You can visit his website out here, Annapolis Marine Surveys.

I read the list and realized I used all of these guys at least once

They are all pretty good - some were a bit better than others, but that's all relative.
