New sink waste drains

I own a C30 and find the double galley sink waste drains are plastic with chrome plate. The chrome is now peeling and I would like to replace them with SS this winter. Question, any suggestions as to how to remove the old ones? Also, any suggestions as to what adheasive to use to install the new ones?
