Sealent for thru-hulls

Hi - Im replacing my depth sounder and knot meter transducers this weekend. Ive seen 5200 and 4200 and Sikaflex recommended. Any opinions? This is on a Catalina 30, and the hull is solid in these areas, so Im assuming digging out any of the solid core isnt necessary. Thoughts?

So you're replacing with same-size transducers, right? I don't think anyone here will suggest 5200 for that--4200 is supposed to be OK for under water and won't be impossible to remove some day like 5200 will.
