Question allied refer upgrade

I just bought an Allied-Luders with a 12 cu foot ice box that I would like to upgrade to a 12 volt cold plate system. I would like to turn part of the box into a freezer. DOES ANYONE HAVE IDEAS? SUGESTIONS?? THANKS WILL CHECK BACK SOON.

Are you looking for a DC or engine driven refrigeration system? If you're cruising long-term or living aboard, I'd recommend 12 VDC powered refrigeration. Also, how much of the 12 Cu feet did you want to convert to a freezer and what shape is the ice box? Depending on the size and shape of the icebox, you may need a dual plate setup.

I'd also recommend you post photos of the setup when you get a chance.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
