Tilller for '79 22' O'Day

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement tiller for a 1979 22' O'Day I've called D&R Marine but they do not have a replacement. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

It's not hard to make one if you have an old tiller for a pattern. White oak works fine. I made mine from osage orange.

You can get a custom made tiller from Discount Marine and Boat Supplies - Inflatable Sales - Defender if one of the stock tillers won't fit.

What I did was purchase a tiller that somewhat "resembled" the tiller on my Bristol 24.
I then had a wood shop modify it.
