Windvane/windspeed Indicator

Hello all. I got what appears to be a windvane/windspeed indicator with my boat. The readout is already installed on the bulkhead but the cable that runs to the bar holding the vane and indicator thangy is gone. Plus there is no bracket to mount it to the top of the mast. Does anyone know if I can buy these seperately. Also, is my only choice to install this to drop the mast, run the cable through it? Has anyone mounted one of these elsewhere? Thanks, Stephen Ronning

The answers are probably yes and yes... but it would help if you said who made the windvane/anenometer setup you have. If it is by someone who is no longer in business...then the chances of getting what you need drop.

If you don't know who made it, take a photo of it and post it...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
