halcyon13 is an unknown quantity at this point
Sailnet''''s Store Customer Service?

Does anyone know what is going on with SN''s store customer service. I placed an order and needed to correct a quantity. I have tried to call the 800 number, but the line is bad (rapid busy tone every time I have tried -- about 8X over 3 days). When I call the non-toll free number, I get a recording that the EXTENSION I have dialed is not working and to dial another extension. I hit 0 to get an operator and it says its transferring the call only to ring for a 8 minutes the first time I tried today and 20 minutes the next time (all on my dime). I have sent 3 e-mail messages that are autoreplied-to, but still no action. My past experiences have been good, but my last 2 orders have both been backordered (Still waiting). I am wondering if I need to rethink this source of parts.

Sailnet''''s Store Customer Service?

Halcyon:

See the other threads for more info & speculation (e.g. in General Discusssion).

Were all your efforts in the most recent 3 days (Fri/Sat/Sun)? If so, you may essentially be reporting that there''s yet more news at Sailnet.

FWIW my own benchmark right now is to not have more than 1 order pending with them. After 5 weeks, I''m still waiting for something as simple as line; I can''t imagine orderng more gear so long as they are unable to fulfill that order nor give me status on it (which they haven''t provided despite my query). You might want to reconsider how to get your parts.

There''s a lengthy reply on the General Discussion Board that I won''t repeat here.

If you''re still having problems then feel free to contact me directly at sam@sailnet.com.
