I actually found a BBQ for the boat for $89 last week. They said list price was $159 and it is the same or very similar to those sold at West Marine and else ware so I finally took the plung and bought one for the boat. Have wanted to for 3 years but kept telling myself to wait to find one for a better price as my buddies I raft up with all cook on theirs. Well couldnt turn down $89

I feel you pain BUT about 99.9% of software is sold this way

The problem is somebody lifted the key to unlock a map as if you look at any best buy they have most stuff in armored cases Or keep and empty case on the shelf and give you the box from a secure area after you buy it

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat

Prices are coming way down for everything that's left. I hit the boaters World in Bellevue, WA 2 weekends ago and all electronics were 40% off. Snagged a Raymarine Ray55 VHF and Garmin 172 for $160 each. Felt like I was was being followed by a bell ringer though...it's always depressing to walk through a store when they have a sign up that says "all shelving and carts for sale"

I just got a Garmin GPSMap 76 CSx for $160. Not a bad price. Uses all the same accessories as my older GPSMap 76CS, which is going to be given to my friend's son.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Gee, I hope West Marine in Canada goes under. I could use some bargains!

(For the record, I don't shop there much, and have nothing against them except their prices. I buy more semi-pro gear or specialty stuff or just hunt online, so good luck to 'em).
