Velvet Drive on Ford Lehman 4D254

Hello All

I am in the process of purchasing a Whitby 42 with a Ford Lehman 4D254 model 2712E engine and I believe a velvet drive transmission. The boat is in the Chesapeake and I believe that there may be a transmission issue. Does anyone know what model of velvet drive is on this engine and if there is a good engine mechanic for these drives in the Annapolis area? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
