Standard Horizon CP300 Chartplotter

Considering getting the above unit. Does anyone have any experience with this plotter. How is the display and how does it perform. Is the display viewable in direct sunlight.

Any opinions/feedback would be appreciated.

I would be interested in opinions about the smaller 180 unit. I am thinking of getting the this as a GPS fishfinder and AIS display.

Do a search on this site for the Standard 300 (or maybe it was on the AS site). Someone else just went through this about a month ago. They ended up getting the version with internal antenna for a good price and they were happy with the deal.
