Thought I'd post a generic title so others looking for yards in other areas can ask in this thread as well.
We are looking for recs for the Houston/Clear Lake area. We will need to have a bit of maintenance work done and are looking for recs for yards in our area that do quality work. Prefer to get first hand recs if possible, thanks!

I've been generally pleased with South Texas Yacht Service at Watergate. They're a good resource if you need "heavy" work done. I've also heard that there are some good smaller-scale repair facilities around clear lake that do a good job as well, but I can't think of any names right off the bat.
Thanks Soulfinger ! Since it looks like we will be at Watergate, (eventually, with whatever we end up buying)they would certainly be handy.
Have you had them do either a bottom job or work on your engine or both?
