Started really digging into Oh Joy

With the nice weather and having a crew of four, we really started getting things done on Oh Joy. I was working on one of the ports today, now that I finally got one out. Check out the 50 year old caulking.

Ya reckon they built the ports to withstand the sea?

I'll have more pics up soon.

Is that tempered glass??? If so, pretty heavy duty...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

More goodies. The after on the port.

Only nine more to go.

Some of the varnish stripping going on ALL OVER the boat.

Christopher, one of the intrepid hands.
