Strut repair

Is there anyone out there that is familiar with Barberis Cantieri boats? I have a 1983 Show 34 and I need to tighten the strut. I am wondering how he builder might have secured it, as I cannot get to it from inside the boat. I believe it is just glassed in and not bolted. Does this sound possible?

Any insight would be appreciated.

I think ArtByJody has a Barberis boat... A 38 IIRC... he might know... You'll need 10 posts in order to PM him...so go over to the song chain thread in the off-topic forum and get five more posts in... Also, I'd highly recommend you read this POST to help you get the most out of sailnet.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
