Groundplate Zinc ????

Hi everybody,
I have a Newmar 12C groundplate that came installed on the hull of my boat. My question is do I need a zinc for this??? When I purchased the boat two years ago it did not have one on it and it SEEMS no worse for the wear when I hauled it this year. Looking at it I don't see anyplace for screwing a zinc in.

Ground plates do not require (or maybe cannot use) a zinc. In any event, you do not attach a zinc to a ground plate.

Thank you Fstbttms. It didn't look like it would accept one without some modification but it seemed most other metal under the water needed zincs so......I figured I'd ask.
