Navtec Hydraulic Backstay Adjuster Leaking

All went well on launch day except for a leak in my Navtec hydraulic backstay adjuster. In appears as though the seal must have dried out during the winter and hydraulic fluid was leaking out of the unit. We will call the Navtec dealer on Monday but is seal replacement something that can be done by a novice or should it be done by a Navtec dealer?

I would like to find a way to not have to ship the unit to the US and back if possible. How standard are hydraulic unit seals and could a local tractor equipment repair outfit do the work?

I will assume the gland is leaking. (where the rod exits the cylinder) Look for manufacturer on cylinder and contact. Kit should be available and not that hard to R&R.
