Shadetree Awnings

Another boat in the marina has one, they look great and the cost isn't too bad . I have a 37' Chris Craft Apache that we're living aboard in South Carolina and the heat isn't too far away. I could always go with a custom awning, but have been advised that it would run about 2000 with materials and labor -- wwaaaay out of the budget, a new Shadetree is around 600 and I found some used ones on craigslist. I would like to hear from people who have them or have had them and didn't like them. A search on sailnet brought up one poor review and one positive review Not much to go on..... any further input would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian
