If the other prop, a Martec you said, was undersized enough, it might not have loaded the propshaft, strut and cutless bearing enough for the harmonic to show up.

I think that it's a case of sympathetic resonance and that there is nothing you can do short of changing the material the propellor is made of. The manufacturer sgould take the propellors back.
