FINALLY done and sailing WITHOUT dinging it

I finally got a nice day to take some pictures of the repainted mast

The class measure wanted to take it back down on Saturday to whack a new mark in it for the now required 3rd band

I told hit bite me and if somebody needs to win that bad there going to protest a 28 year old boat go ahead

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat

Yes it was sprayed with Snow White Perfection TWICE

It is a bit of a joke around here because there was a MASSIVE Perfection RECALL and i had gotten ONE bad can which destroyed the paint job

This required starting over right down to BARE metal because the paint was SO BAD you could NOT even save the primer

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
