Rising Coolant Level..4108

Yesterday I noticed that the coolant level on the reservoir of my Perkins 4108 was all the way to the TOP. I haven't used the boat for two weeks and the coolant level is usually below half when cold.
I ran the engine and it ran as usual without any problems. Only thing I noticed was that the coolant pump had a drop of coolant below the gasket. I had replaced this pump a few months ago so I just re-tightened the mounting bolts.
Is it posible that there is air in the system? Or should I remove the heat exchanger and check for leaks?

Any thoughts?
