main sail help
well hello again everyone, here is my question and dilema. unrolled my main sail and found it to be put together with duct tape in one section with heavy guage stitching. so i'm looking for a new main sail

what are my restrictions? as in min luff, leach, and foot. ebay has some for a fair price mine sail measures

I 35.50 j 11.50 p 31.30
i measured my mast and boom and if i did it correctly

the luff is 31 foot is 12' 10 " and leech is 32' 10" these measurements were taken using the sail warehouse store sheet please let me know what i can do.

or do i have an option of buying a larger one and having it cut down?

If you're buying a used sail, you're better off trying to get one that is sized appropriately for your boat... re-cutting a sail can add a bit of cost, and that combined with the cost of the sail to begin with might mean getting a new sail would have made more sense.

It would really help if you said what kind of boat you had... since another owner of the boat might have some suggestions on what other boat's sails might fit your boat.

If you haven't read the POST in my signature, I would highly recommend you do so...

That "post in my signature" thing just reveals that you are inconsiderate. It's not really funny. Playing internet pranks is kind of played out. I know for a fact I could Rick Roll you, and you could Rick Roll me, and on and on. Who cares?
