Question Starcraft Skylark Manual

Hello All

I'm new to SailNet and joined because this community seems to have more posts and info on my new Starcraft Skylark than anyplace else. Does anyone have an owner's manual? I've seen a couple mentioned, and I'd love to find out exactly how to get a copy. I'd also love any maintenance or sailing tips anyone might have, like how to rig the mainsheet and how to tack upwind (it's got two leeboards and I haven't gotten it wet yet).

I just got the boat yesterday, and it was complete except the manual, so any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

Is this a 16 foot boat? I have a new-to-me one too-I think it's a 69 or 70. I think I need to replace the mast and repair it too. I would really love to talk to you about the manual, if you find one. Thanks.

Skylark Length

The Skylark is 14'. I understand Starcraft put out a 12.5' and a 16' boat as well, but I can't recall their names. I'm lucky in that my Skylark was complete, and all I had to do was to replace the lines and buy a couple of bailer plugs. I've figured out how to rig it, but it took a while without a manual. I'd still like a manual, so the same goes from me -- if you find a manual for a Skylark, let me know!

Re: Starcraft Skylark Manual

Another manual-less skylark owner, I bought my 14' starcraft last year, and have gotten it wet a few times. i am now looking for rudder/tiller replacement/pepair, and find information on this boat annoyingly scarce, please alert me if you find anything useful,
thanks

Re: Starcraft Skylark Manual

I have a Starcraft Skylark II...received it as a gift (it was used) in 1971. Hauled it from the Midwest to Southern California where I still live. Haven't used it for a long time. It is still intact, but I know it needs some work to be totally seaworthy. I am thinking of restoring it completely. I have some paperwork, but not a manual which would be very helpful. Are there any other California owners reading these messages?

Re: Starcraft Skylark Rudder/tiller

I have a 1969 Skylark and also need a rudder/tiller. If someone has one and would be willing to take some pictures and hopefully make a paper pattern for me I would really appreciate it. I would pay you for your effort.
