pdqaltair is on a distinguished road
Jordan Series Drogue - Quality of construction.

Ace Sail Makers vs. English Sea Dog vs. Sail Rite.

Any experience with any of these? I can't see myself doing all of the sewing, but I have access to plenty of proper rope for cheap and I'm solid on splicing.

I may be blind, but I cannot see where any of them state the specifications of the materials to be used. Seems odd.... I certainly would not buy a sail without knowing the materials.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.
