Furthermore: Assembly onto the prop shaft is not quite as straight-forward as one might think. Contact Martec for installation instructions.
Be advised that Martec props, any folding or feathering prop, actually, can be... tempermental. We just had to send ours in for a refurb last winter because it had developed the "Martec blues."
Btw: A fellow club-member suggested giving all the surfaces that bear on one another a good coating of marine-grade lithium grease to prolong the time-between-refurb intervals. Says it's worked for him. I didn't see how it could hurt, so I went ahead and did that on ours.
