USCG Required Safety Gear

Does anyone have a list or a link to a list of the safety gear required on a 36 food sailboat. I don't want any expensive fines.

Coast Guard Minimum Equipment Safety Requirements at Fintalk Fishing

now beyond safety there are other things like the head discharge, trash placard, bilge placard that are needed too

Vessel Safety Check Program

On the U.S. Coast Guard Boating Safety website, they provide a program which allows you to evaluate your boats preparedness for a safety inspection. It covers safety equipment as well as required placards.
