I have a furuno 1724c that I am trying to tie into an Icom m504 for the DSC function. I have the 7 pin connector in port 3 of the furuno but dont know the wiring sequence for the icom can anyone help or point me the right direction?

I take it you don't have access to the manual for the Icom, either in hard copy or on their web site?

Sure he does, and the instructions are on page 58--the inside of the red coax is NMEA in + and the shield is NMEA in -.
