autohelm nautech 2000 help??
hallo all,
i just inherited a VERY old Nautech Autohelm 2000, it has a seperate head unit that is cylindrical and about 8" long and 5" across. it appears to work great, i have hooked it up to a battery and fiddled with it. however the mount on the side was un-screwed and now the nut inside is rattling around.
the head unit is in two pieces with a joint almost exactly in the middle with an rubber o-ring. i have tried to separate the two halves, but can not figure how to do it. anyone have the slightest idea what i am talking about, and any ideas on how to open up the unit?
