I got an email from Asa yesterday, and he's working with UPS to get it fixed or replaced.
I don't quite understand the process though, I shipped my compass to him to be repaired he fixed it, and sent it back, it was broke in transit, I called them about my compass, and they are sending the money for the compass to him? It just doesn't make sense

Sounds simple to me. He took out insurance from UPS when he shipped the compass back to you. I do the same thing with all the shipments I make with them. You be crazy not to.

Sorry to see the comments about ASA at Island Compass. He is busy and I am a customer for adjusting supplies. I run a compass shop and adjusting service in the Pacific Northwest.
