furler question

Hi, bought a paceship 23. Came with parts for a Schaeffer 500 snapfurler. The pvc foil needs to be replaced and if I am reading the ads correctly it is over $300.

The Hood Seaflex is $389 for an entire new set up. Is there any reason not to go with the entire new furler?

Without seeing it, If it were mine, I would go with the new, sell the 2nd hand parts. Look at the forestay - good time to replace it - (with toggle) if need be.
All the best
David
