Dodger Isinglass

I am a new SN member and find the solutions and suggestions to be stellar. My isinglass in my spray dodger seems to have a buildup of wax/cleaner that has become rather cruddy probably due to ultra-violet effects of the sun. I had been using PLEXUS as I thought it to be a premo product. Someone suggested that the NOVUS 1,2,3 product will remove the built up crud and restore the plastic. This is not an age problem or shouldn't be. The dodger is not old. Any comments or suggestions?
