Cool 24v - 12v

Has anyone had or got a unit that can switch a two battery 24V bank to 12v for the purpose of;
1. Driving a Bow Thruster 24v
2. Windlass 12V.
I wish to charge this bank off my alternator @ 12V

thanks

You could do it with a battery disconect and 12 volt high current solenoids that are remote mounted , found on the older Ford starters. Change the batteries from parallel ( normal) to series connecting only the bow thruster, disconnecting everything else.
