Leaking keel bolts

I have a slow ingress of SALT water into my bilge; I relieve to have ruled out every possibility and begin to suspect that the leak is through the keel-bolts.

It only leaks when sailing, more so when going upwind for some time 2+ hrs…

There is no ingress of water when at the dock and very litte or none when going downwind.

How can I confirm this?

If it is the case, how do I “re-seal” the keel botls?

If it is the keel bolts then you are in for a big job. You need to pull the boat out by the sound of it. One question, have you checked your rudder gland?

What is the boat and how is the keel attached? A Bavaria?

Dry everything out and put paper towels down to see what gets wet first.

We had the same issue, but it leaked underway at all points of sail. Turned out to be the rudder post seal.
