Sealing Lewmar Portilights

Hello:

Iím ready to apply Silicone as the final step of replacing the seals on my Lewmar portlights; I noticed that where the two ends of the aluminum extrusion meet needs to be sealed but not with silicone.

Anyone knows whatís the product for this job?
