Wooden tillers are quite easy to make but if you want to buy one already made, Annapolis Performance Sailing carries a storebought wooden J-22 tiller. APS - Wood Tillers & Carbon Fiber Wheels

US Watercraft, the current U.S. J-22 builder lists a tiller as well. Tiller, J22, 48

H & L Marine Woodwork

You can get a tiller direct from H & L Marine Woodwork. They do not have a website but can be contacted on 323 639-1718 or 310 638-8746. They will send a catalog if asked.
