Framing system

This guy seems to have a pretty neat and easy to use system.
Anyone use it? Any suggestions for alternatives.
The idea of paying for and dumbstering shrink wrap every year seems anti-green.

I have used the Kover Klaps with galv. EMT tubing. I'd like to try it with PVC tubing[i should think it would work] Clamps, sorry,Klamps work great-only downside is storing and toting heavy metal tubing.

Looks like electrical conduit to me. We make ribs (arches) of conduit, bending them with a bending tool (borrowed) so that they attach to to the legs with a standard conduit join piece. The pvc tubing we tried several years ago got brittle with the cold, and cracked in lots of places. We run 1x4 furring strips fore & aft, taping them to the conduit ribs, and cover the whole thing with tarps. Holds up well and is cost effective. Shrinkwrap would be more than $400/yr for our boat. Conduit and joins cost about $200, and we spent about $500 for tarps... 12 years ago. We laugh each time we see a shrinkwrapped boat, until we consider its environmental impact and the waste of money it represents.

I've been using Framemaker Clamps at Framemaker Clamps for a few years and I like their stuff.

I agree Scottyt, if their product is anything like their website, I would stay away.

My company does websites so I know exactly what you mean. That being said I think it is very possible someone could be very competent when it comes to a mechanical thing like the Klamp and not be so great at website design.
Also I suspect it is a very low profit business if any so I'm sure the website was done on a shoestring by someone he happened to know.

Website aside it looks like a good idea and the video was adaquite for me.
And we did get two users who said it worked for him.

Unless I'm getting paid to redue a website I tend to ignore the flaws. Better for the blood pressure.
