Looking for used or old sailcloth

Hi all, I'm looking for used/old sailcloth that no one wants anymore. I'm making a messenger bag for my little brother.
Anyone have any that they'd like to get rid of? Or know someone that does?
Thanks!

Try checking any marine consignment stores - they usually have old sails there too, and will likely have been there a while - should go cheap.

But most of us have old sails laying around so maybe you'll get lucky here.

You could also check with local sail clubs that have a racing program...as many will retire the sails after a certain amount of wear and tear have set in...

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Post a note at a marina or yacht club. Many old sails are thrown away.
