ST40 Wind system

Does anyone have this unit? If so how do you like it and how accurate is it? I currently have just a depth and speed transducer and like the way it functions. I tried searching but it doesn't seem like anyone has reviewed this product. Thanks for any help.

Are you meaning the wind unit?

Good budget unit from the 3 I've seen in use, but it is budget and you get what you pay for. Put a sun shield on it so you can see it in full daylight.

Given the kind of sailing you do I'd go with the tacktick if your budget can handle it. You'll be a lot happier with it.

I'm debating installing a set of these ST40 down below at the nav station as repeaters. I like the look of independent instruments for depth/speed and wind direction.

At the helm, I have a C80 as well as ST60+ tridata system installed.
