Rigging on a Bayfield 23/25?

I need to order replacement rigging today (Wednesday) so that I can replace it when I make it back to the boat next Monday. Which brings me to my question...

Does anyone know the probable diameter and lengths of the forestay, backstay, and shrouds, as well as the types of fittings for a Bayfield 25?

I am trying to get the replacement rigging sent in from another state so I can sail the boat away from where it is now and to its semi-permanent home--a time sensitive endeavor.

Probably impossible given the dearth of info, I know,

John

There's no real way to be sure the boat is totally standard, and without the old rigging in hand I doubt any rigger will want to make up a set on spec without actually taking some measurements.

Another possibility is that the info you need may be in an original owner's manual, but unless you have one finding one in a couple of days may be difficult.

Low production number boats like a Bayfield 25 could vary very widely in rigging lengths and layouts from boat to boat. The only sure way would be to use the existing rigging as a guide. Make sure you measure each turnbuckle threaded end to threaded end and also allow a for stretch since the old rigging would already be very stretched from years of use and the new rigging will stretch a lot when its first put into service. You would be amazed at how much of a difference that can be.
