SEACOURSE Auto Helmsman

We have an ancient (SeaCourse, Seafarer Range) Tiller Autopilot made by Electronic Labatories in Poole, Dorset, England back in the late 70s. We have a detailed manual and a wiring diagram for the internal board.

This unit is a real bear as it has no trouble with our 26,000# cutter with tiller and outboard rudder. Nothing made today comes close to this displacment.

Any old salts know this unit. Hesitate to install perm unless we can find repair resources. Have it temp mounted with clamps and the like for test.

Congratulations on your sailing accomplishments. How about a photo of you and your boat for our collection.

Happy to help! I will need to copy the manual and scan it in to my computer. It is quite a few pages and very small print. If you will send me a private message with your e-mail address I will be able to e-mail it to you.
