Yours doesn't look adjustable except for the amount of grease inside it - strange.

Yeah. The only adjustment seems to be pump in more grease? What gives? I'm pulling the boat in February for a bottom job. Maybe I should lose this thing.

Does it leak? I wonder if it's like a "bearing buddy" for trailer wheel bearings. It's a spring loaded grease cup for trailer wheel bearings. I think they work on the principle that there is always some grease pressure on the inside of the hub that keeps the water out.

I belong to the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" club, but if this thing is leaking and adding grease doesn't work, then it probably needs replacing.
