Electronic wind direction indicator

At 71, my neck gets a real workout checking the Windex on the masthead of my 28.5 Hunter, so I'm considering an electronic wind direction indicator that could be mounted to my pedestal guard. Anybody have any recommendations on whether this is a good idea, and if it is, what brands and models would you recommend. I'm on an inland lake and no autopilot to be concerned with. All I'm looking for is a quick graphic that will shown me the direction of the wind relative to the direction of the boat. Thanks.

Raymarine, Signet, Navman etc.. any of the sailing instrument manufacturers provide such things.. might be tough to get in just that package.. many now combine wind direction, speed, boat speed, depth in a package deal. Check the various online stores like Sailnet for 'deals' and what's available.

Here's an example... not going to be inexpensive, though...

As mentioned, there are a number of companies that make a wind speed and direction instrument. The less expensive units cost around $450, then you need to add installation.
