Isomet roller furl or not?

I presently have a 40 ft. trimaran with a 40 ft. mast and am considering a change to an Isomet furler mast (49ft.) Does anyone have any input regarding this type of rig? How will the extra 9ft. affect performance. The boat is light(about 10000 lbs.) The mast is used and about twenty years old. Thanx Tiki Dave
