Sail Inspection

I raised the main at the slip today (most of the way). I was pleased to find the sail in pretty decent shape. The real pleasure was finding it set up for jiffy reefing. I expected to find no reefing points or help at all.

I thought you were supposed to remove the battens when you furled the sail? Mine appear to be permenantly sewn in.

The battens can stay in unless you need to fold the sail in to a small package

If i am taking a main to the sail loft i just roll it up and carry it down battens and all
