fogging oil...

Used fogging oil for the first time yesterday.
I was kind of disapointed. I was expecting some sort of fog or foggyness.
The can just squirted out a stream of oil.
Is that the way it's supposed to be?

If a dirty bottom slows you down what do you think it does to your boat

The idea of fogging oil is to put a protective coating on your cylinder walls so that the engine can be stored without rust issues. It does not "fog" when you are spraying it into the air intake but it does when it gets into the cylinder.

Thanks, now I know I just didn't get a can of "flat" fogging oil.
