MATHURIN is on a distinguished road
Info on that anchor

Does anyone have any idea on the built quality of this anchor? The only info I managed to gather is what is written on it, which says it's 35 pound and manufactured by Danforth USA, and it's supposed to be a top quality anchor (I kind of doudt it because of the welds holding the pivot braces...)

Here a pic:

Thankyou

mitiempo will become famous soon enough
It is a cheap copy of a CQR anchor, made by Lewmar. Here's a pic of an original for comparison. Pivot braces aren't welded but part of original forging.

Any system is only as good as the worse of all its parts. Provided that the welds are properly made (at least the weld area seems to be more than enough to overcome the resistance of the welded parts themselves) I believe that the clevis is the weakest point of your anchor .

Furthermore Danforth is a credible anchor manufacturer...
